The Sun is Still There

The sun finally came back late this afternoon! In the meantime, everyone was slipping and sliding in the mud. Bill had been telling me that the combine looked really bad (dirty). He's right. The tires of everything are all muddy with corn leaves stuck to them. I went to a baby shower in Poky and then stopped by the field. The combine had quit, and 2 John Deere mechanics were just getting there. They got it fixed - some kind of electrical gremlin. Bill & Tim got that field finished and moved the combine & semis to Bill's mom's yard.

Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny, warmer and windy. Bill hopes to switch back to beans - and maybe get done with them. The elevator will be open from 10:00 - 5:00.
