Planting!

Planting has resumed after an 11 day delay waiting for the ground to dry enough!  Today was perfect!  High 70's and sunny, no wind.

Bill started planting yesterday and Tim worked ground.  Today after lunch I started doing the field cultivating and Tim was in the sprayer (after giving me a refresher course).  He also came out with a tractor to pick up several large rocks.  Carl came out to move the field cultivator from one field to the next for me!  As of tonight, Bill has about 700 acres of corn planted.

Tomorrow morning is the last cookbook meeting.  We've entered the recipes into Morris Cookbooks' program so we'll be hitting SEND! tomorrow and also mailing our photos for the personal and divider pages.  We plan to have them available during Greater Rolfe Days in July.
