Corn on the Cob is Ready!

We had our first corn on the cob yesterday! Bill thinks it'll be better in a couple of days. I got these corn "trays" at Bed, Bath & Beyond. We really like them because it keeps the butter off your plate and other food!
Finally able to move this pile of top soil to the front yard. Bill borrowed this loader which made it go much faster.


Nice to not have that dirt pile in the picture any more! We can only see the top of the trains now with the corn being tall. (click on picture to enlarge it and see the train going by)

I have 500 cookies baked for Diane & Todd's reception tonight! Glad that's done! Now on to working on my stamping events coming up. It's another perfect weather day in the mid 70's here but Bill says it needs to be warmer for the crops.
