Bill has been working with the backhoe this afternoon tearing out the rest of the concrete (see video below - click on the arrow to start it and turn up your volume), front & back steps and basement walls. He and Tim are trying to figure out how to get the cistern broken up. They've finally got a hole in the side of it but it's sure thick.

I've been doing laundry, unpacked another box, watched Bill and other misc. stuff this afternoon and realized at 4:30 that I need to make a couple of pans of bars or batches of cookies for church tomorrow! It's our turn (with another couple) to serve refreshments! Luckily one batch of cookies is in the freezer.

How to destroy an old cistern.
Step 1. Drill holes in concrete
Step 2. Fill with explosives
Step 3. Insert fuse into holes that have been filled with explosives.
Step 4. Light fuse.
Step 6. Run like hell.
Step 7. Wait for the "boom".
It's just that easy. :)

Just goof off on the computer looking at different blogs that I haven’t been to.
Or it been a while.
What neat picture of corn. We sure don’t have cornfield here in North Idaho. Just in the gardens.
Boy those burger looks good nothing like grilled burgers.
Stop on in for some coffee.
